The remaining 1% is around 40 bird species, 12-15 mammals, 4 or 5 reptiles and amphibians and, a range of insects, spiders, snails and whatnot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of the Urban Nature Reserve is to arrest the decline in this 1% and eventually reverse it so that creatures that we have been familiar with over the centuries will still be around in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every bit of space can help from the smallest window box to large parks like Victoria.
